Alexis Armstrong specializes in entertainment law and business development. Her practice has catered to many local small businesses, film directors, and Grammy-winning producers. Having clerked at the Mississippi Court of Appeals under Judge Latrice Westbrooks, Alexis is also well versed in litigation and appellate matters. She is truly a chameleon in the legal realm that is a force to be reconned with!
“Lex the Lawyer” as dubbed by clients, provides years of expertise with an extensive resume. She has served Mississippians well through offices such as the United State’s Attorney’s Office, Office of the State Public Defender, Mississippi Attorney General’s Office, along with several youth courts.
Alexis also found a passion for teaching and facilitated an Entertainment Industries Copyrights & Contracts Course for a music institute program. During law school, Alexis served as a teaching assistant for Negotiations Seminar, Sports Law, and Entertainment Law at Mississippi College School of Law.
Alexis is a proud graduate of THEE Jackson State University in which she received her BA in Political Science. She is also an esteemed member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
With there never being too much on her plate, she enjoys sewing, board games, binge watching, and playing with her niece and nephews in her free time.
