Frascogna has served on the Panel of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) since 1979. He has served as a mediator for AAA since 1994. Frascogna has arbitrated and mediated disputes covering a wide variety of issues, such as contract, complex litigation, entertainment, professional sports, copyrights, trademarks, insurance issues relating to property and casualty, life, health, disability and mortgage, coverage relating to loss allocation among multiple parties, toxic torts, hazardous waste and professional liability, securities, banking, oil and gas and international transactions. He has mediated numerous commercial disputes of a broad variety ranging from specialized mass tort mediation between twenty two parties to a hostage release mediation working in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Frascogna has been appointed Special Master in numerous circuit court districts in Mississippi involving mass tort litigation in which he conducted hearings on dispositive and non-dispositive motions and issued over 800 reports and recommendations. He has served as the lead counsel for the Complainant in a case involving several multi-national parties litigated in the Permanent Court of Arbitrations at The Hague, Netherlands.
Frascogna has received extensive training as an arbitrator and mediator attending numerous national seminars and programs, notably, Pepperdine University School of Law, Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, Advanced Mediation Skills Conference; William Mitchell College of Law, Special Masters Conference; and the Harvard Law School, Program of Instruction in Negotiation.
